Even if you missed Sephora’s semi-annual sales event earlier this month, the Black Friday sale is here and the deals are very good. As a beauty writer who’s been covering the sale for three years now, I know it’s time to refill voids, try something you saw on TikTok, or stock up on gifts. To help you get the best deals, I scoured pages of products and put together a list of my holy grails, things we’ve written about before, and wish list items I’ve been eyeing.

One thing about Sephora’s Black Friday sale is that the deals vary from day to day — brands that run the gamut from Fresh and Fenty to Kiehl’s and Youth to the People — so be sure to check out this article . Of course, things will likely sell out or change, but I’ll do my best to keep prices and inventory as up to date as possible. Our beauty writer Tembe Denton-Hurst likes this for removing dry skin while moisturizing the fresh, new skin underneath. And it is gentle enough for daily use without irritating sensitive skin.

Pat McGrath’s velvety foundation is so good that strategy author Dominique Pariso saves it for special occasions. Right now you can get it for under $50.

I won’t stop talking about the Tarte Shape Tape dupe because it’s so good (and now under $10). If you buy one thing, it should be this.

Tarte’s deeply discounted palettes sell out quickly, but I found this one that’s only $20.

We love Briogeo’s Be Gentle line for sensitive scalps because it avoids all potential irritants (fragrances, parabens and of course sulfates) as well as essential oils, lactose, soy and gluten. On top of that, it’s made with soothing ingredients like aloe and oat milk.

Lots of products from Strategist-favorite hair care brand Verb are 30 percent off, including its Ghost Hair Mask. It’s our all-time favorite affordable hair mask and works with all hair types.

The brand’s shampoo and conditioner are said to be best suited for fine hair, and it has a line dedicated to removing frizz quickly.

We have long been fans of T3’s user-friendly hot tools. This one has an extra long barrel that lets you curl more hair in less time.

Here’s a compact version that won’t take up much space in your hand luggage.
