Christina Aguilera joins Sabrina Carpenter on stage for 2 performances

Christina Aguilera and Sabrina Carpenter are one dynamic duo!

The five-time Grammy Award winner, 43, made a surprise appearance at Carpenter’s Los Angeles concert at the Crypto.com Arena on Friday, Nov. 15, to duet a pair of her hits — a few months after the pair sang together for the 25th anniversary of Aguilera’s debut album.

Aguilera hit the stage in a black corset and short shorts with sparkly knee-high boots to first perform “Ain’t No Other Man.”

As she begins to sing, Carpenter can be seen from the stage head before joining Aguilera in a duet of the song.

The pair also sang a slower rendition of “What a Girl Wants” on stage together, before which Carpenter told the crowd: “Los Angeles, do you mind if we slow down for a second?”

“And do you mind if I sing one of my favorite songs in the world with one of my biggest idols, Christina Aguilera?” she continued as the crowd cheered their approval.

Videos shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) showed the performance with the pair sitting side by side on stage harmonizing together.

Aguilera and Carpenter could be seen sharing a big hug after the performance, with the “Fighter” singer telling the “Espresso” musician, “I love you so much.”

The “What a Girl Wants” performance from Aguilera and Carpenter was similar to the one they did together for Aguilera’s celebration of her debut album with Spotify back in September.

At that point, a proud Aguilera could be seen looking on as Carpenter opened the song before taking over for the second verse.

In one Instagram posts on Saturday, Nov. 16, Carpenter responded to the onstage moment with Aguilera, writing, “LA night 1 thank you @xtina for coming out last night, giving everyone (including me) the surprise of our lives and being one of the main reasons I love + wanted to make pop music, I adore you to no end!!!!!!”

“I think the first time I ever heard your voice was (when) my mom played a video of you singing ‘A Sunday Kind of Love’ as an eight-year-old,” Carpenter told Aguilera with reference to the star’s 1990 performance on Star Search, where she wowed the audience with a passionate rendition of one of Etta James’ fan-favorite songs when she was around 10 years old.

“It was the most inspiring thing for me ever to see as a young girl who wanted to sing but just didn’t think I could do it at that age,” she added.
