Earlier the same day. Hashian disclosed in a Instagram video that Jasmine and Tiana did voiceover work for the upcoming Moana successor.

The video begins with the girls walking into a recording booth at Walt Disney Animation Studios in awe as they survey a large set inspired by the animated franchise that started with the 2016 film.

The clip then cuts to the girls smiling from ear to ear as they recite some of their lines, while Johnson, speaking the character of the demigod Maui, sits behind them. While details about their characters are unknown, the girls’ animated counterparts appear to be close to their age.

Hashian, who married Johnson in August 2019, wrote in the caption that their daughters should be a part of the film made for “the cutest and FUNNIEST day.”

“So exciting that the munchkins got to voice characters for MOANA 2!! The MOANA BE’s! Moana’s mini fan club on her island Tonight will be the very first time we all get to see it and hear their little voices come to life … we can barely contain the excitement,” Hashian, 40, wrote, noting that the movie “really always meant the world to them.”
