Tennessee is coming off a dominating win over Virginia in the semifinals of this tournament, throttling the Cavaliers for a 64-42 victory. The game was close in the first half as the Volunteers led just 22-21 after 20 minutes of play, but the team turned on the jets from there.

Chaz Lanier led Tennessee in scoring, going 10-for-23 from the floor and 6-for-12 from three en route to 26 points. On the defensive end, Jahmai Mashack was all over the place, blocking two shots and swiping away four steals. Felix Opara also blocked three shots.

Baylor played an exciting semifinal game with St. John’s. The Bears trailed 44-30 at halftime, but managed to come back and force overtime. After the first overtime ended in a tie, the Bears took the double OT victory, winning 99-98.

Norchad Omier led the team in scoring with 24 points while also pulling down 10 rebounds, while Jeremy Roach added 20 points on 7-for-14 shooting.
