Lindsay Lohan’s LBD featured a sheer skirt and cutouts galore

She gave the classic dress a warm shake.

Sheer dresses never go out of fashion – that’s if Lindsay Lohan have something to say about it. The star battled for the red carpet favorite despite chilly New York City temperatures. As if the stained, see-through fabric wasn’t enough, her dress also featured cutouts galore.

The Cool Friday actress arrived at the New York screening of her new Netflix Christmas movie Our little secret in an ethereal black dress. While little black dresses remain a classic, there was nothing typical about this dress. Lohan’s dark centerpiece featured a fitted bodice, a backless design, cutouts along her waist, a plunging neckline decorated with two embellished seashells and crystal embellishments, and a sweeping, all-sheer, flowing skirt. She wore the piece over nothing but high-waisted black underwear.

The “Drama Queen” singer let the dress do most of the talking by pairing it with matching chunky platforms, a gold bracelet, a pair of diamond bracelets and her massive diamond wedding ring. On the beauty front, Lohan jazzed up with rosy makeup, complete with peachy-pink blush, fluttery lashes and a nude pink lip. She styled her long golden locks in a half-up, half-down ‘do with a subtle side part and face-framing tendrils.

Lohan posed for some snaps with her costar Kristin Chenoweth, who went the more traditional holiday route. The Evil alum’s ensemble was equal parts Britney Spears’ “Oops!…I did It Again” and Mrs. Claus. Chenoweth rocked a bright red latex corset, which she tucked into matching cargo pants and paired with coordinating pointed-toe pumps. Sparkling diamond earrings completed her look.

Our little secretout November 27, follows two exes, Avery played by Lohan and Logan played by Ian Harding, who find out their new significant others are siblings and now have to spend Christmas under the same roof.
